Victor 12th April 2018

I knew Terry from the time he started at Axbridge Primary School, then, in 1947, he came to live almost opposite where we moved in Orchard Road. he lived in No. 5 we lived No. 18 (then). We went through school together, Axbridge and Cheddar although I was a couple of years ahead. When Terry and Lynn came to New Zealand they contacted me and we arranged to meet in Wellington (NZ) as I had to go to a meeting there. Somehow or other we didn't manage to connect in Wellington...so....They had to make a detour of some 700k (420 miles) so they could meet up. When we finally met it was like we had only parted the previous week, but we tried to fill in all of the gaps. I had the pleasure of meeting up with Terry and Lynn plus Dave and Dorothy the last time I was in UK. Terry it was a pleasure to have known you. R.I.P. me old Mucker....Haere ra e hoa ma, Haere ra, Haere ra, haere ra.
